What “private by design” actually means here
- No account. There’s nothing to sign up for and no email to hand over. You open the app and start logging.
- No cloud. Your sessions are stored on your device, not on our servers — which is also why we genuinely can’t see them.
- Works fully offline. Nothing about tracking needs the network, so you can log an entire session with no signal at the table.
Being fair to the others
Privacy isn’t a totally empty field. Poker Analytics markets itself as offline-first, and some smaller apps lead with “no tracking.” Credit to them. What StackWise pairs with privacy is the part still missing elsewhere: honesty about variance — a confidence range and sample-size label on every figure, and a headline win rate withheld until the data can support it.

Local-first cuts both ways. With no cloud, there’s no built-in multi-device sync — your data lives on the device you log on, so keep your usual device backups. If automatic cross-device sync is a must-have for you, a no-account local tracker isn’t the right tool, and we’d rather say so than pretend.
Privacy without paranoia
