StackWise — Privacy Policy
StackWise is a poker session tracker built to be private by design. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not. The short version: your session data never leaves your device, and we don’t run servers that collect it.
Data stored on your device
Everything you log in StackWise — cash and tournament sessions, buy-ins, cash-outs, venues, notes, tags, and the statistics derived from them — is stored only on your device. StackWise has no user accounts, no login, and no cloud sync. We cannot see your data, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
We don’t collect personal information
StackWise does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and it includes no third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, because we don’t collect it.
Subscriptions
StackWise Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider.
- Apple / Google handle all payment information. StackWise never receives or stores your credit card or billing details. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat receives a store-issued purchase receipt and an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier in order to verify whether your subscription is active. This is not tied to your real-world identity. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
This is the only data StackWise transmits off your device, and it is used solely to determine whether you have an active Pro subscription.
Permissions
On Android, StackWise may request the notification permission to show an optional ongoing “live session” notification while a session is running. It is used only for that purpose. The app functions fully offline and does not require network access to log sessions.
Children
StackWise is intended for adults of legal age to play poker in their jurisdiction. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Your data, your control
Because all session data lives on your device, you are in complete control of it. You can edit or delete any session in the app, and uninstalling the app removes all stored data. There is no server-side copy for us to delete on your behalf.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the revised version at this URL.
